Well I have well and truly neglected our blog haven’t I? I promise to make more of an effort to keep you all updated.
There’s so much to blog about, I don’t quite know where to start first.
Have you signed up to our mailing list yet? We email monthly offers that only go to people who have signed up, if you haven’t done so yet then sign up now and enter yourself in to our Facebook competition at the same time.
We have had clients who have never tried some of our treatments before, this got us thinking that perhaps we should trial little taster sessions, these have proved incredibly popular indeed. Running until the end of October this is the most fantastic way to experience Reiki and Indian head massage, with fifteen minutes of each treatment for just £15, we have found that clients have added this on to their usual treatments, bought it as a gift in the form of a voucher or they have just popped in for this glorious half hour experience whilst laying down and relaxing on our heated couches.
Call or email us now to book, we promise that you won’t regret it.
On Friday 25th of September we held our Macmillan coffee morning, it was a glorious sunny day and we all sat on hay bales and tables in the courtyard whilst eating delicious cake, chatting with old and new customers and raising money for a good cause. We raised a total of £140 which we were pretty chuffed with. Huge thanks to all of the shops in the Rural Shopping Yard for providing us with prizes for our raffle.
As well as coffee and cake on the 25th we helped Dale Upton raise money for Macmillan by waxing his back. Right up until the first wax strip was pulled Dale was on the phone to friends and customers asking them to part with their money. We added our money to his total which reached over £1300, Dale then passed his total to our friend Belinda Tyler who has organised a sponsored ride for Macmillan for the past few years. The grand total of all of the monies is well in excess of £8000 with money still arriving. We feel so privileged to have been a part of this super day and to be able to donate to such a worthwhile cause. We have however now set a president and are already thinking ways that we can top this total next year, any ideas greatly appreciated (I have a couple of ideas already but not sure I could find enough people to join in).
I hate to mention the C word, but we have already had some fantastic Christmas gifts in stock, they won’t be going out in reception until November but please remember us for gifts and stocking fillers.
As always coffee, tea, chats and consultations with us are all free.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
